McSharry Park features a state-of-the-art 3G Astro pitch in Sligo town, designed to support a wide range of sports, including football, Gaelic football, tag rugby, rugby, athletics, track and field, and softball.
Wink has recently installed the Casambi lighting control system, delivering energy-efficient lighting for the Mc Sharry Park stadium. We collaborated with Electric Skyline who installed the floodlighting while we provided the lighting control part.
We’ve successfully implemented Casambi lighting control solutions in over 50 sports grounds in the past 12 months and many have been received funding. The Casambi lighting control system not only meets but exceeds the criteria set by the Sports Grants Capital Programme and the Climate Action Fund, providing a comprehensive solution that addresses sustainability, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved user experience in sports facilities.
