Brief: The stunning Amphora lamps by Bover, one of our brand partners, were used in this terraced garden we worked on with the Landscape designer Colm Doyle. For this project, the light fitting selection had to not only achieve the desired lighting requirement but also, needed to be robust to the aggressive saline atmosphere.
We used a mixture of Polycarbonite ,Bronze , Core 10 and 318 stainless steel used for the various solutions. The round recessed eyelid step-lights have been recessed into the granite steps allowing for the steps to be illuminate without any glare for the pedestrian. The core 10 bollards again have only downward lighting reducing any glare and light spillage.
The Globe ball at the end of the garden gives a gentle wash of light to this seating area.And the uplighting punctuate the olive trees.
