We are thrilled to be awarded an honourable mention at the international LIT lighting design awards for the lighting of the Alexandra Bridge in Dublin Port.
We worked closely with Darmody Architecture to create a dynamic lighting design with integrated shield LEDs to keep light pollution to
a minimum. The luminaries are connected to a tidal sensor so when the tide is high the lights sparkle brighter and inversely when the tide
is low, the light levels dim. This brings connection to the moon, to the sea and reminds us that the port visitors and goods ebbs and flows into the city
The LIT Design Awards was created to recognise the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. It celebrates creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and applications.
