The Berkeley Library revamp was a unique project for Wink Lighting, and we’re excited to share our experience with you. The library is a listed building, and one of the main challenges we faced was ensuring that all the lighting products matched the original fittings while also providing modern lighting solutions for the library’s needs.
To meet this challenge, we partnered with BPM lighting solutions to provide bespoke manufactured lighting products for each location in the library. Our team worked closely with the architects and engineers to ensure that the lighting solutions meets the library’s requirements while also adhering to the listed building’s regulations.
The end result was a stunning lighting design that enhanced the library’s architecture while providing the necessary light levels for reading and studying. The bespoke lighting products provided by BPM ensured that each location had the right lighting fixture to match the original fittings while also incorporating modern technology and energy efficiency.
