Wink provided the lighting design and supply for the MOD suites meeting room area in the well-known Gleneagle hotel in Killarney. The hotel has been a successful destination for conferences and work related events for many years.
Conor O’Byrne from Wink designed a new lighting scheme for the MOD suites area to incorporate new lighting fixtures and improve the lighting functionality of the work and meetings space. To ensure optimum lighting for work-related activities, he used Koh ceiling panel lights in the meeting rooms which provides good lighting coverage for the space.
Wink also provided Wink LED Linear surface lights in the corridors and wall and the RIPLS ceiling lighting by Louis Poulsen for the stairwells.
Finally, Conor went for a bold statement for the reception area, with a magnificent large circular Exenia lamp known as Naboo, suspended from the ceiling. Naboo is a circular-shaped LED pendant luminaire fitted with SMD linear light sources, providing omni-directional light distribution – a perfect showstopper for the reception area.
