Wink provided the lighting control system, Casambi for the Railway Union Sports Club in Sandymount.
The Railway Union is a multi-sports club situated in Sandymount, not far from Dublin City centre. Bowls, cricket, hockey, rugby, soccer, bridge and tennis are all played at the club.
The Club facilities include:
A full size 6-rink bowling green
A top class floodlit Astro Hockey pitch
6 grass and 5 floodlit all-weather tennis courts
Two soccer pitches
A cricket ground
A full size rugby pitch
Wink recently provided Casambi lighting controls to the Railway Union Club when they were upgrading their floodlighting.
This allows the club to have full flexibility over lighting and to control it remotely. The lights can be controlled via a traditional switch or a smart device. There is no light wastage and so provides a sustainable solution.
