In our lighting design for the Market Bar, nestled within a 19th-century Victorian warehouse in the historic George’s Street South City Markets Building, our primary goal was to craft an enticing ambiance and memorable experience for visitors.
To achieve this, we adopted a unique approach by utilising narrow beams positioned closely to the walls. This strategic placement allowed us to accentuate the original brickwork and archways, highlighting their intricate texture and form. By avoiding the use of general pendants, we ensured that no detail of the architecture went unnoticed.

The strategic location of the light sources added depth and dimension to the space, elevating the structure’s character and creating an alluring play of shadows and highlights.
Our lighting design became an integral part of the venue’s allure, complementing the historic surroundings while immersing patrons in an unforgettable atmosphere of charm and nostalgia.
