We were thrilled to see our work featured in The Journal recently, with a glowing testimonial from interior designer Karina Heaslip, who led the design of this beautiful home in Co Kilkenny.

Karina shared:

“Wink created a beautiful lighting scheme – in the living area the trusses in the ceiling are all uplit beautifully, whereas everywhere else in the space the lighting is low level, thus creating a lovely soft atmosphere.”

This project was all about balance — highlighting architectural features while creating a calm, welcoming feel throughout. By uplighting the exposed trusses, we drew attention to the height and structure of the space, creating a gentle drama overhead. Elsewhere, low-level lighting was used to soften the mood and provide a warm, ambient base.

The result is a layered scheme that works with the materials and layout, never overwhelming the interiors but quietly elevating them.
