Wink is proud to have been a part of the design team for the Ballyroan Library project, working alongside Box Architecture led by Gary Mongey. Our collaboration resulted in a lighting design that seamlessly complemented the architecture, becoming an integral part of the structural design rather than an added layer.
By working closely together, we were able to generate a lighting scheme that not only enhanced the building’s aesthetic appeal but also contributed to its energy efficiency. In fact, the building received an uplift in its BER rating after it was up and running, showcasing the success of our combined efforts.
We are thrilled to learn that the Ballyroan Library has won several architectural awards for its design and BER achievements. It’s a testament to the successful collaboration between our teams and the commitment to creating a space that is both visually striking and environmentally sustainable.
