Brief: Following detailed discussions with the client, MSCEB of Bahrain, Wink consultants prepared a lighting strategy for each of the 1,000 plus rooms on the site. We then developed a powerful software package to identify, for each individual room, every light fitting, lamp and control gear; its location, power consumption and supplier; its expected life and cost.
The client will be able to continue to operate the package as an invaluable maintenance and purchasing tool throughout the life of the project. A lighting design was prepared for every major space, including a number of major lighting features. Once we had completed detailed design down to individual luminaire level, Wink identified a short-list of suppliers for each light fitting and lamp, including alternative fittings.
