Lighting Design: Wink Lighting
This project involved the complete renovation of a 1950s semi-detached home in Dublin 4, with the aim of introducing a clean, contemporary character to the property while respecting its original proportions. The lighting scheme was designed by our home lighting designer, Aimee Corcoran.
The brief focused on creating atmosphere through subtle, integrated solutions. The scheme centres on linear LED lighting, allowing spaces to be softly layered with light while minimising the use of ceiling fixtures.
A slim pendant was selected to define the kitchen island, creating a refined focal point that complements the pared-back aesthetic of the interior.
The scope also included exterior lighting to enhance the front façade and provide gentle illumination to the rear patio and compact garden, extending the sense of warmth and usability into the outdoor spaces.
The result is a calm, contemporary home with lighting that quietly supports both the architecture and daily life within it.
