The Kildare GAA Centre of Excellence, located in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, is the central facility for Gaelic Games activity within the county.
As part of a major upgrade to energy-efficient LED pitch lighting, we supplied a Casambi wireless lighting control system in partnership with Seamus Byrne Electrical. The Casambi system enables intelligent control of pitch lighting through scheduling, dimming, and scene management, delivering significant reductions in energy consumption while improving ease of use and operational flexibility.
Over the past 18 months, we have delivered Casambi lighting solutions to almost 100 clubs, many of which have successfully secured grant funding. Casambi not only meets but exceeds the requirements of the Sports Capital Grant Programme and the Climate Action Fund, providing a compliant, future-proof solution that supports sustainability targets, energy efficiency, cost savings, and long-term operational performance for sports facilities.
