The owners of this luxury home on the West coast of Ireland wanted the lighting to compliment the surrounding landscape and to be able to control the lighting for individual spaces. They also wanted to be able to control the lighting remotely as they lived abroad and this is their holiday home. Casambi was the ideal solution for this project.
We provided the lighting design for this rebuild and supplied the Casambi lighting control system in the home. Scenes were created for the various scenarios required which were stored in the cloud.
The brief was to have the lighting contemporary and not visible where possible. Linear strips of lighting were used and striking pendants for a more dramatic effect.
The clients wanted to be able to control the main living space for different functions such as preparing food, entertaining and relaxing which the Casambi system allowed. They wanted the option of both switches and app control, and the kinetic switches provided matched the socket face finish.
Full training in how to use the Casambi system and switches was given to the clients and they are delighted with the result.
