Wink provided lighting calculations and supply for the spectacular Stockingfield Footbridge in Glasgow. Our lighting designer, Aimee Corcoran oversaw these lighting activities on the project.
The ‘lights-on’ at this bridge, was turned on to much fanfare in December 2022.
People from across North Glasgow and beyond gathered at the Bridge to take part in a lighting spectacle in celebration of the opening of the new bridge that unifies communities.
Stockingfield Bridge is a £13.7 million project which reconnects three communities in north Glasgow. It provides an important new linkage between the communities of Ruchill, Gilshochill and Maryhill improving access between these communities and also open up routes to the leisure and employment opportunities in the west end and city centre.
